Every runner I know goes through the same conundrum. What runners watch should I buy? Although I know a lot of enthusiasts who are happy with using their phone as a timing device, a watch is a much more practical option. And my favorite manufacturer is an oldie but a goodie.

Timex Men's Ironman Classic 30 Full-Size Watch

This is a simple and classic watch that comes in grey and black. It features a sports stopwatch with 30-lap memory, a countdown timer and alarm and a resin strap with buckle closure. The watch dial lights up for when you're running in the dark.

It's inexpensive at $34.95, but that doesn't mean it's cheap. A great watch overall and a good bargain.

This is another inexpensive option from Timex. The watch only costs $28.92 from Amazon. It has a nice clean sporty design, and has 10-lap memory. It also features a countdown timer and alarm and boasts a durable resin strap with buckly closure. Just as with the model 30, the display lights up for dark situations.

This watch is also water resistant down to 100 meters, which means you can wear it swimming and snorkeling. But don't go all Scuba with it, ok? Besides, you're looking for a running watch, not a diving watch, right?
